Freece Casting
Freece machines are a unique semi automated casting method which Deancast Components Ltd have a vast experience
with. The Freece machine is a rollover process, which enables us to cast LM5 in a low-pressure type environment to
attain low porosity and high surface finish. Deancast maintains four Freece machines which gives us a large capacity and
high versatility.

Finishing and Inspection
Deancast couples its casting ability with a high volume finishing department to produce premium quality components at
low cost. This department includes such finishing techniques as: Vibro de-burring, flat bed linishing and polishing. QC
auditors inspect each component before dispatch, to ensure that the customer only receives components of the highest standard.

In House Die Design/Manufacture
Here at Deancast we believe that a close customer relationship is essential in order to achieve client satisfaction. This is
why we maintain close communication with the customer and sustain an open dialogue during die design/manufacture
in order to ensure the part requirements are met. Deancast uses 3D solid modelling techniques for accurate interpretation of
the customer's design using CAD/CAM techniques throughout.

Materials
Deancast manufacture castings in a wide range of alloys including LM2, LM4, LM5, LM6, LM9 and LM25. Also used are
specialist alloys such as L90 and L91 for the manufacture of British Aerospace castings. If any other material
